Who will benefit from Plasma Filters
This filter is most suitable for
- dust allergy sufferers,
-
hay fever sufferers,
- babies and young children,
- elderly,
- smokers,
- us, who cares for a cleaner and healthier air.
What is a Plasma Filter
The Plasma Filter is arguably the most effective method of filtration. Initially developed for hospitals to lower the risk of illness and allergies. The plasma filter purifies the air by flitration of bacteria and viruses from indoor air using 2 of their main characteristics :-
1) extremely small filter and
2) the ability to propogate at great speed and acceleration.
The Plasma Filter is built into the air conditioning indoor unit and does not require replacement during the life of the system.
Can Plasma Filter filtrate bacterias and viruses?
Of course, this is what Plasma Filters are designed to do. Bacterias sizes are typically a few micrometres and viruses can be a hundredth of this size. A non plasma filter are generally ineffective filtration system for particles at these sizes and can only allow such particles to propogate on the filter surface, making frequent filter changes necessary.
Plasma Filters - electric ions?
The plasma filter uses electric fields and discharges ion that tackles bacterias and viruses. In other words, a plasma filters will periodically energise the electrodes that will kill the captured organisms. The EcoAir plasma filters can filtrate up to 95% of such organisms, not to mention dust, smoke and pollen particles that are captured by the
electrostatic filter. The air blown into the room will be
purified, free of bactera, viruses, dust, smoke and pollen.
How can I clean my Plasma Filters
Our plasma filters have electrodes that are factory-fitted and will last for many many years and the performance is not compromised. There is no need to clean your Plasma filter.
