Where a portable air conditioner can be used?

You can use a portable air conditioner to keep a room cool in the summer.  A portable air conditioner is movable from one room to another and is not fixed to a particular location.  When you are finished using it, you can store it away from sight.

It is perfect if you cannot install a split air conditioner to your premises.  A split air conditioner requires an outdoor unit but a portable does not.

The portable air conditioner requires a hose about 6 inches in diameter where hot air is expelled outdoors.  This hose is usually hung through a small gap in the window or door.  Some portable air conditioners come with a “window slider kit” which you can fit on a wall or door with a small hole to expel the air.
